Meet Gina & Mike Mireles, owners and operators of High Performance Fitness Training Facility. Since 2010, they have made it their life's work to improve the performance of athletes in the 708 region. Mike dedicated his collegiate and post-collegiate education to becoming one of Chicago Southland's leading experts of sports performance training. Spending countless hours under the bar himself, as well as learning from the best minds in the strength training industry, including NFL and MLB strength coaches, has created in his philosophy of long-term development in programming his athletes. He has been leading youth in physical instruction for over two decades. Gina contributes the crucial, but often overlooked, factor of sports performance: nutrition. Studying sociology, biological sciences, minority health inequalities, and nutrition science for the last 10 years has provided her with the necessary knowledge to serve the WHOLE athlete, mentally, physically, and nutritionally.
